Understanding the Saha

The Saha IS the movement. There is no separation between theory and practice and the Saha is not a community created to implement the practice. The Saha IS the practice. We are not a community advocating a philosophy - the community is the philosophy, the practice, the truth.

The Saha exists in suffering. The Saha is part of the suffering. There is no separation. The Saha evolves within this suffering, attempting to minimise the causes and conditions of suffering, to create better lives for all.

The Saha has always existed.

One Perspective

Those working together for the good of all have always existed. We have known them by many names. I have an affinity with traditional Quakers and find comfort in this quote from William Penn, the founder of the Quaker colony of Pennsylvania.

The humble, meek, merciful, just, pious and devout souls everywhere are of one religion and when death has taken off the mask, they will know one another, though the diverse liveries they wore here make them strangers.” (William Penn)

May all beings know peace!

Saha Dukkha

We live in systems that produce suffering. This path is about seeing clearly, acting with compassion, and reducing harm in everything we do. Liberation is not individual or separate — it is shared.
